Outcomes

Evidence is central to our approach and our thinking:

For children, parents/carers and families, regular check-ins build self-awareness, mentalisation and encourage hope.

For schools and local authorities, feedback proves that our programmes boost wellbeing, resilience, behaviour and engagement with learning.

For funders and supporters, evidence demonstrates how investment creates meaningful, lasting change for children and families.

Insights

Data and feedback guide how we refine our work, ensuring children and families receive the best possible support. We track changes and report on them effectively in order to demonstrate real impact.

Methods

The Child Outcomes Research Consortium (CORC) Best Practice Framework is a set of standards, tools and guidance for ensuring the highest quality use of outcome and feedback measurement in organisations supporting children and young people’s mental health. We use the Framework to ensure that our data is robust, reliable, and consistent.

Goals-Based Outcomes (GBOs)

Children, parents, and teachers set and track goals. Children’s goals often differ from adults’, giving us valuable insight into what matters most to them.

Child Outcome Rating Scale (CORS)

Measures children’s wellbeing across key life areas and is completed every six sessions to track change over time.

Child Session Rating Scale (CSRS)

Provides real-time feedback on each session, enabling us to adapt the work immediately based on the child’s experience.

Experience of Service Questionnaire (ESQ)

Gathers broader feedback from children and families on satisfaction, communication and overall quality of support.

These tools ensure children’s and families’ voices are central to everything we do – they guide practice, improve services, and demonstrate the impact of partnership work.
